Guess who’s back! The internet took an extremely long time to be installed. But I finally have it back and can post regular updates. Not going to lie so much has happened. I’m still a regular at the gym. Doing amazingly may I add. I’m stuck at the moment around 17 stone 2 pounds. Really want to get to where I see 16, it’s so close. But I’ve come so far from 18 stone 8lbs.
So a little update, where to begin. So a main thing that’s happened is I’ve hit 100kg on a deadlift, this I am majorly proud of. Things have been a little tough as of late, I had a cold which has pushed me back. But other than that I’m excited where my new found fitness is taking me. Obviously I’ve moved house, I absolutely love my new place. I felt at home the moment I walked in, so that’s a bonus.
As I now have the internet back I’ll be posting at least once a week.
Hopefully people get the YO! Sushi bit or I’ll look crazy.
Blue Monday? What is that I hear you ask, well it’s officially the most depressing day of the year…
It’s pretty much the day where we are missing Christmas and the summer is to far away, we come to the realisation that this is it till sunny weather.
It’s also around the time we start giving up on our New Years resolutions; I hope all you guys are sticking to yours. So glad I started my healthy lifestyle change back in November, I’ve been a little rubbish with food due to moving house, it’s the worst not being able to cook or anything.
For me it’s a good Monday, even if I am working, I’ve already been up to the gym, wasn’t the best session I’ve had but at least I got moving, my personal trainer is such a super star for putting up with me.
So there is a little update, let’s hope we are all sticking to your healthy living.
I’m currently moving house, not been able to update due to such a busy schedule, my PC is all packed away, as is my desk, well basically everything I own.
I’m still going to the gym, I’ve been a little out of rountine with my eating habits. Going to try and really get back into this and engage myself in better eating again. Get back into drinking more water also.
I’m hoping to get my pc back up and running in three days but I can’t promise anything. I’ll just have to stick to mobile updates at the moment. Thanks for all sticking with me.
Eight whole days into the new year and I’ve been on a solid four days at the gym with one recovery session. This is just a mini post. I need help… what’s the best pre workout and post workout meals? Hope some of you guys can give me a few tips. Thanks in advance.
First gym session of 2017, I know I know a little delayed with it being the 3rd and all but it’s the only time I wasn’t busy.
Somewhere down the line I want to be a power lifter so my personal trainer has given me a plan to start to get myself ready, not only are we lifting awesome weights we are also learning the perfect technique.
This is my work out for today –
Obviously I’ve filled out myself what weights and what I achieved. Pretty much did it all. Not without complaining. For the last two months I’ve slowly been building my fitness, however you know what it’s like, whole knew programme and it feels like you are back to square one. Even typing this is killing my arms, but I’m so ready to become even better. Just hit two months in, I may have only lost a stone but by goodness I can already feel the benefits. Less fatigued, loser clothes and a boost in confidence. A little video of my warm up leg press.
Not much but I will start recording my workouts. Let me know if this is something you may be interested in. May even start a you tube channel. If you read this let me know.
So the stigma around 2016, for myself at least it was a good year, I went on my first holiday via a plane (had holidays in the uk) in June to Walt Disney world Florida; that was amazing in itself. I’m already panning my next trip. I also found my love for fitness. I managed to achieve this in my last week of December – Which I am immensely proud of, for this new year the only way is up, getting stronger and reaching unthinkable goals. I’m ready for you 2017 bring in whatever, I’m standing tall and will accomplish a lot.
Today the first also marks two months since starting the gym.
The introduction post; it’s an unwritten law that we write these, or even a brief explanation of what this is all about.
New year, new blog oh and new me… blah blah blah. Yeah, we’ve heard it all before, I hear those whispers, this isn’t a new me though. I’ve been on my journey since 1st November 2016, it’s almost been two months and now I’ve decided to blog about my highs and lows, my achievements and failures. I’m going to show you what it is like to be 260lbs and to start a fitness journey, it’s been so hard but totally worth it, I’m currently 248lbs with a loss of 12lbs, not a lot but I am well on my way to becoming so much healthier.
I’ll be blogging about fitness, health, gym & life.
I’m excited for blogging my journey and recording every step of the way. So let’s say goodbye to 2016
